All disease begins in the gut. – Hippocrates

Hippocrates said this more than 2,000 years ago, but we’re only now coming to understand just how right he was. Research over the past two decades has revealed that gut health is critical to overall health, and that an unhealthy gut contributes to a wide range of diseases including diabetes, obesity, rheumatoid arthritis, autism spectrum disorder, depression and chronic fatigue syndrome.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practtioner (NTP) I am trained to identify deficiencies and imbalances by addressing the six biochemical foundations in the body. Each client is unique, and proper nourishment and gut healing protocols can look very different from person to person. I believe in bio individuality, rather than a 'one size fits all' approach.  This functional nutrition concept allows for true healing to take place.  If desired, I can help guide patients, one step at a time, to the proper diet and gut healing modalities that will be of most benefit to them.
